This Texas Highway Looks Like The Goddamn Ocean
Of all the pictures I’ve seen come out of Houston this has to be the craziest. Yes, there have certainly been sadder images that highlight the devastation to lives and neighborhoods and there have been videos of terrified dogs being rescued that broke your heart, but as far as things that make you go, “What the FUCK is happening” this has to take the cake. This looks like the DVD cover of The Day After Tomorrow. It looks like a Michael Bay set. It looks like a day you go to take the ferry and think, Eh, let’s wait until tomorrow. Seas are a bit rough today.
Only it’s a fucking highway 20 miles inland.
What’s it usually look like, you ask? Have a gander.
Now there are whitecaps and waves crashing. Absolutely preposterous.
