Las Vegas Heating Up

Fight week day one. The desert heat seeps through the Luxor hotel walls and sizzles the fair skin of a sleeping Adam Ferrone (Rone). One floor above, I diligently conduct my morning circuit of pushups and bible verses in preparation of what’s to come. This week’s the week. The week Young & Happy takes on our toughest competition yet. The sun.

Known for its hot properties, the sun is the elephant in the room if the room is our planet. We all know its there but no one wants to address it. No one wants to make eye contact. It’s like Kodak Black. You want it to be out, but when it is you’d never feel entirely safe being close to it.

This week in Las Vegas the sun is showing a pre snap cover 0 blitz that not even screens will work against. It is hot as Hot Pastor. It is as hot as coming out of the closet in 2017.

As we begin to bring you top notch investigation journalism around this Saturday’s fight, my biggest worry is neither our limited knowledge of combat sports nor the mass influx of media competitors.
