Bryce Harper Casually Lifting Weights With a UFC Belt Around His Waist

 

Bryce Harper lifts. That is confirmed. He wants to weigh 245 pounds at spring training. He’s basically turning himself into David Boston of the MLB.

Yahoo - Rather than taking off the weight gained over the holidays, Harper would like to keep his and continue adding to it over the six weeks. In fact, the 21-year-old all-star, who weighed in at 218 lbs at the end of the 2013 season, says his goal is to weigh somewhere between 240-245 lbs when spring training opens next month.

Hard to hate Bryce Harper. He plays and trains so hard it’s basically even odds he will die running a 4.4 40 into the outfield wall. Casually lifts weights with a UFC title belt around his waist like it’s normal protocol. It’s Bryce’s world and we’re just living in it.
