Contrary To Popular Opinion Floyd Mayweather Held His Own In Press Conference #2

Listen everybody knows Connor McGregor is the best fight self promoter of all itme. (Unless you count Mike Tyson who would threaten to eat your kids and bite you and stuff, but that was Tyson being a legit psychopath as opposed to McGregor being funny ) But I strongly disagree with Octagon Bob when he says Floyd can’t hold his own talking trash. Yeah McGregor is better, but the reason this fight is so compelling is because Mayweather is also great in his own right. And make no mistake about it. When he started befriending Dana White and calling him McGregor’s boss and saying that White and Mayweather were colleagues that infuriates McGregor. It was a great tactic by Floyd. This is something that eats McGregor up and he knows it. It drives McGregor nuts that he may be a bigger ticket draw right now but Floyd makes like 30X what he makes a fight. It drives McGregor nuts that he is an employee and Mayweather is his own boss. Those are just straight facts and while Floyd got his ass kicked in Press Conference #1 this was almost a draw.

Sidenote – It’s obvious these guys really like and respect each other. They can’t help but laugh at a bunch of each other’s jokes. There is zero real animosity. Combine that with the fact Floyd never fights and this has BORING written all over.
