OddsShark Presents Glenny & The Bets
Listen, I don’t want to sound cocky here but there’s a decent chance I’m the hottest (over) gambler in America right now. Last week was another 3-0 week on the backs of the WNBA & MLB. Shoutout to the Lynx, Mercury, White Sox, Rangers, Astros, and Yankees for keeping the dream alive and improving my record to 13-2 in the past 5 weeks of Glenny & The Bets. Trust me- this heater will end soon. Winter is coming at some point but until then let’s rock.
- Mercury/Stars Over 156
- I will begin by saying this is not my favorite WNBA pick o’ the weekend. I’m feeling the over in the LA & Seattle game tomorrow night despite the probable high number but those line’s aren’t up yet so we’re hitting the Mercury & Stars hard. I am definitely a little intimidated since the Stars are a measly 1-15 yet stats are in favor of the over, though. The Stars are 5-3 on the over at home and the Mercury is 4-2 on the road. Add in OddsShark’s projected score of 82-78 and that’s Good enough for me.
- Yankees/Brewers Over 10.5
- I’m not gonna lie, Over 10.5 is HUGE for a game not being played at Coors Field. I guess the bandbox that is Yankee Stadium is close enough. This was music to my ears as I saw 2 of my favorite Over teams in the Yankees and Brewers going head to head tonight in the Bronx. Jordan Montgomery v. Junior Guerra. I’m hoping for an 11-o Brewers final.
- Mets/Cardinals Over 7.5
- Despite the solid pitching matchup of Jacob DeGrom and Carlos Martinez, I’m taking our chances at scoring an easy 8 runs. The Mets’ overs are 23-15-5 on the road along with the Cardinals’ 23-18-3 at home. Not to mention the over is 3-0 in their last 3 head to head matchups. Dial me in.
That’s all for me this week, folks. Let’s ride this fucking wave. As always you can find me on Twitter for questions, comments, and concerns @glenny_balls.
