Pals, it’s time to crack open the Liquor Cabinet and have a few pulls on a couple fingers of bourbon. Gary Clark Jr. is another throwback musician with a strong lead guitar and a “he’s better live” feel.

He can vary up his pace and sounds great fast or slow. One of the biggest reasons that I like him is that his guitar style reminds me a lot of the ballads of Stevie Ray Vaughan. I’m a huge Stevie Ray Vaughan fan. Listen to this one and imagine Stevie singing it with him. Would have been dope. I would love to hear a Gary Clark Jr and Stevie Ray duo…
