No, I don’t mean to use the term “Thing” literally. I think. Tomorrow at 4:30pm on @BarstoolSports Twitch, Nate and I are playing head’s up poker for a $10,000 entry to the World Series Of Poker Main Event. Pres will provide commentary as a poor man’s Norman Chad as we fight to the death on the virtual felt.
As you know, it’s been my lifelong dream to be a contestant on The Gong Show play in the World Series Of Poker. After a few months of success followed by many years of futility as a professional poker player, I assumed that dream was dead. Not only dead, but chopped up, pissed on, then buried in the Vegas desert. You don’t understand. I coulda had class. I coulda been a contender. I coulda been somebody, instead of a bum, which is what I am. Let’s face it.
Now the tides are turning. The miracle workers over at Fantasy Labs is giving me an opportunity to bring some light out of these Dark Ages of my life. And the only thing between myself and a chance at millions of dollars is one Eric Nathan. We’ve battled before, and I ultimately ended up on top. But now the stakes are legitimately the highest they’ve ever been. PLACE YO BETS BITCHES.
