Nothing Says Romance Like A Minor League Baseball Game: Dude Gets Cringeworthy Wedding Proposal Rejected In His Face

Looks like Tebow wasn’t the only one to strikeout that night hey ohhhh. I really hope this was a hoax. It just has to be right? As we’ve discussed in the past, at length, proposing at a baseball game is one of the worst ideas you could possibly have. You don’t deserve to ever get a yes if you’re dumb enough to ruin that kind of moment for your soon-to-be wife. But proposing at a minor league baseball game, a Single A Mets team no less, is next level cringeworthy. What thought process going into this leads to you concluding this a great idea. I’m 23, but when I think I have the love of my life in the bag and she’s definitely going to say yes then I’m going to consult all my best friends and close family members to see if this whole plan is a good idea. If this is real, which is up in the air with how the world is these days, then this guy needs to abandon his friends who played a part in this.

I want to feel bad for this guy, but I can’t. He’s the dumbest person on the planet. He looks actually shocked she’s not crying joy right now, that’s crazy.

Oh in case you didn’t get the hint I’m going to whisper in your ear how much of an idiot you are and how I’m never going to see you again.

I’ve never been on someone’s side more than this woman. Proposing at a minor league baseball game is diabolical. We’ve said in the past that you still have to say yes when getting proposed at a game just to save the embarrassment, but not here. It doesn’t get worse than a Mets minor league baseball game. This is a lesson, probably the 100th time we’ve said this on the site, but don’t propose unless you know she’s going to say yes with certainty, and definitely don’t do it at a sporting event, never mind an amateur sporting event.

This could be all a hoax, and I really hope it is, but a lot of me believes it.

P.S. Shoutout to Ryan Settler on the wedding last weekend. See what happens when you don’t propose at a Mets minor league game?
