Daily Mail- A Domino’s delivery driver has been lauded as a ‘hero’ after delivering a pizza to a hungover customer’s bed.  Sam Zegrour, from Bury in Greater Manchester, was suffering with a sore head after a big night out and decided to order takeaway pizzas as a remedy. But as he was still feeling so ill from the night before, he decided he couldn’t face getting out of bed to greet the delivery man at the front door – so he sent instructions on how to bring it up to him. Incredibly, the helpful delivery driver let himself into the house in Bury, Greater Manchester, and took the pizza upstairs to a grateful Sam who didn’t have to leave the comfort of his own room. Sam shared two photos on Facebook last Saturday of his unique delivery and wrote: ‘Current situation. Not all heroes wear capes.’

I’m a little worried after reading this story but it might be why you think. The reason being that now I’m gonna wanna do this all the time. I didn’t know this was an option. And now that I know it’s an option, it’s gonna be a problem. Because there have been many a times when I’ve been deathly hungover and had to drag my sad sack of bones to the door to get my Chinese food/pizza/whatever I thought was going to cure me. It’s the worst. You already feel like the world is collapsing around you and now you’re forced to walk down some stairs? It’s fucked up. Nut now you’re telling me that whole time all I had to do was write “I’m hungover AS FUCK bring the food into the apartment and hand it to me” in the special instructions? This is like finding the secret menu at McDonalds. I feel like today is the first day of the rest of my life with this newly acquired information. Sure you run the risk of the delivery guy robbing you or killing you. But then again there have been times after a big night out where the best thing a delivery guy could bring me is a loaded gun. So that’s a risk I’m willing to take. I can’t wait to put this to use.
