Video Of A Bunch Of Teens Going Wild In A Grocery Store, Pissing And Shooting An Employee, Is Like A Horror Movie In Real Life
KTVA – Anchorage police say a group of unruly teenagers was fighting inside the store, breaking merchandise and urinating in the aisles. One of the teens pulled out a gun and shot a store employee as the group fled the store, police wrote in a release. The incident occurred before 7 a.m. Saturday.
Anchorage Daily News – Devon Maurice Brown, 18, was indicted by a grand jury Thursday on charges including attempted murder, criminal mischief, weapons misconduct and first-and second-degree assault, according to a statement from Anchorage District Attorney Clint Campion. Brown also faces 11 new counts of third-degree assault.
Detectives originally charged Brown with just two crimes — second-degree assault and weapons misconduct — but Campion said prosecutors sought additional charges as the scope of the incident became clearer. Some of the new assault victims, he said, weren’t aware of what was happening as they tried to enter or exit the store.
“We’ve got more information and a better picture of what happened,” Campion said. “There are a number of people who were placed in danger of imminent physical injury.”
Police have not arrested any of the other teenagers involved in the incident and maybe there aren’t any real charges to bring against them but holy shit does every single person involved in that need to be locked away forever or at least not be able to get right back to living a normal life. Everything from the fighting in a store, to the menacingly breaking down the door until they let the one kid out, to the whole part of actually shooting someone, was a horror movie. It was like The Purge or any of those 70s movies where a crew of bikers who are inexplicably evil torment people in a house until one survivor has to get gruesome revenge on them all. Except this was real life and there were people in there just buying whale blubber and igloo sealant or some other Alaska shit caught in the middle of chaos and serious danger. And piss! That’s an absolute nightmare scenario and unhygienic all around.
Plus who really knew this went on in Alaska? I admit all I know of the region is Sarah Palin and the movie Insomnia with Al Pacino but even with the murders in the latter I wouldn’t have guessed Alaska has situations like this. You learn something new every day, we’re just as capable of insane senseless violence on the fringes of the US as we are in major metropolitan areas. Now we know that.
