This Saturday, I made a quick run to the grocery store before hopping on a train to meet Glenny Balls for a little Rangers hockey. Since it’s Darty Szn, I had to hydrate a bit, so I picked up my favorite flavor of Gatorade, Lemon-Lime, and noticed after I left that the receipt said “GATORA-YELLOW”. I was a little perplexed because Lemon-Lime Gatorade is green, but I’ve known some people who have called it yellow growing up (blindos). Just because I was curious, I said let me throw up a poll to see how many of these idiots follow me.

Oh. Okay. Wow.

So 91% of my followers seem to think that Lemon-Lime Gatorade is yellow, and they’re very mean about it.

Even my coworkers, who I thought were friends, were ruthless, and weaponized their social media against me.

KFC even cease and desisted me on the concept of asking questions!

And Erika Nardini AGREED!

Well let me tell you something, folks. I got a job at Barstool Sports back in October by telling “Riggs” that I was pretty decent with Photoshop. Pretty decent with Photoshop means I am a certified graphic designer. As a professional graphic designer, I regret to inform you that Lemon-Lime Gatorade is technically a color called Chartreuse, which is in the green hue family.

Need more evidence? How about Mr C&D coming out of the woodwork, fighting my fight for me, against himself, while I slept peacefully?

Color spectrums aren’t even necessary though, because this is a first grade level art lesson. It’s Lemon-Lime. Lemon comes first, lime comes later. You add green to yellow, that yellow turns to green. You add yellow to green, it stays the same. There’s no “green-ish yellow”. Green overpowers that bitch color and takes the reigns. That’s why green is the GOAT.

Now have yourself a green Gatorade and kick the week off right.
