Fred Hoiberg Has Apparently Had Enough, Walks Out Of Post Game Press Conference

Guess what Fred, I’ve had enough too! Now let me first say that obviously this reporter is clearly trying to bait Fred here, he’s trying to get a rise out of him, we all know it so let’s not pretend that wasn’t the intention. It’s a funny clip but I don’t totally blame Fred for getting up and walking out knowing that sitting there any longer would make things much worse.  But you know what Fred, any other Coach last night wins that game, I really believe it. The Bulls were shooting out of their mind and somehow was leading going into the 4th, it was a free gift totally squandered. The Defense was so bad, the Offense was seemingly designed to not involve Jimmy Butler, and the rotation was all over the place. Now the Jimmy thing, that’s very much on Jimmy as well because he did not play well and he didn’t force the issue, but when Wade and Canaan are bringing the ball up, when Wade is going Iso and taking fade aways that graze the front of the rim, when Jimmy gets 1 more touch than NIKO, maybe just maybe you should think about adjusting. I don’t know, that could be a crazy ask by me as a fan, yeah you’re right, that’s way out of bounds. Instead let’s just keep doing the same thing over and over and hope it magically works. Or better yet, put MCW or Jerian Grant back in like you did in Game 3 and 4 until making that adjustment WAY too late. I knew this was going to happen. This team has too many holes from the top down, I can’t believe I fell for it again in Games 1 and 2. I can’t believe our season depended on Rajon Rondo. But here we are. Maybe it was just an energy issue, no need to gameplan right Fred?

And don’t get me wrong, Fred doesn’t deserve the blame for everything, it just feels like far too many times the Bulls counterpunch or react a step too late and that’s how this series has gone for Fred. Game 3 hope bad players work, Game 4 hope bad players work and then hope Isaiah Canaan can save you and also use a TWELVE man playoff rotation, Game 5 same? You’d think trying to go no PG and run everything through Jimmy would be an option but nah. It’s frustrating as hell.

The only reason I didn’t mention the Front Office is because I made a promise to everyone I wouldn’t bitch during the playoffs, in 1 Game (barring a Jimmy miracle and Fred to be competent) they’ll get theirs again.
