Pinocchio Turning Into A Real Boy Takes Us Into The Weekend (And Zack Wheeler's First Start Of The Season)

After more than two years of injuries and reports, we should have proof that Zack Wheeler is indeed a living person and not some figment of our imagination when he takes the mound at Citi Field. My guards are up however for an ESPN alert that says “Zack Wheeler has been scratched due to (Pick Your Ray Ramirez Poison)” at 7:09 pm. But in the meantime, I am going to remain positive and dream of Zack keeping Steven Matz’s seat warm at the Four Horseman of Queens table.
