We did it. It has been 153 long and miserable days (unless you live on the north side of Chicago) since the Cubs were victorious in one of the most memorable Game Sevens in the history of professional sports. The offseason is finally over, and baseball season is officially here. It’s a clean slate, a new start, and all of that other cliche shit that you hear on Opening Day. The boys of summer are back, and after today, it’ll be one down and 161 to go. Here’s to having meaningful baseball back in our lives for the next seven months.
