Mediatakeout – An instagram poster claiming to be Russell Wilson ex-wife Ashton Wilson is a RACIST. The alleged Ashton liked a very rascist posts – which suggests that Abraham Lincoln should not have helped free African Americans from slavery.

Not the best look when dumped by your black boyfriend for a prominent black R&B singer who was also recently entangled with a prominent black rapper. And yeah the meme has a little bit of a racist component but it’s mostly just a dumbass meme like any other meme. It’s an Abraham Lincoln joke more than anything, not too many guys out there who can get a good “freeing the slaves” gag as their expense. Great meme to like as a publicly visible person with 20,000+ followers? Probably not. But still just a dumb meme and not a hate crime? That seems about right to me.

Also let’s be real: Abraham Lincoln would not be too stoked to hear rap music. I’m not sure it’d affect his political decisions regarding freeing people but he wouldn’t be a fan. That said, I feel like this Ashton Wilson SHOULD be a fan of rap music. I mean she’s probably spent a lot of time around athletes and her husband is in an on-again off-again feud with one of the biggest rappers around in Future…that seems like a time to embrace her love of slick beats and dope rhymes and get to work making Russell Wilson jealous to a trap soundtrack. Hell she’s probably rich, spend money on some broke rappers and buy the champagne to get poured on herself. Embracing the rap community rather than pushing theme away one Instagram like at a time is a much richer path to revenge, that’s all I’m saying.
