Birdman, Birdman! Some people would say that was a journey of a boy turning into a man. Some people would say it was a Faces of Meth transformation, but not me. One because I’m pretty sure that would get us sued. And two because I imagine anyone that spent their 20s living in Denver and New Orleans while also sprinkling some time in their 30s partying in Miami could have gone through a similar change from innocent caterpillar to tatted up butterfly. Being a lanky white dude trying to make it in the NBA is just an accelerant. Oh yeah and being accused of kiddie porn in one of the most fucked up hoaxed of all-time? That probably didn’t make the inside of the Birdman’s head a very happy place and probably led to a tattoo or ten.
