New Netflix Show "Mindhunter" Looks Fucking Awesome
So this show seems like it’s basically Criminal Minds without the wealth of happy and uplifting parts soooooo yeah, I’m very here for it.
It’s based on the book Mind Hunter: Inside FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit and if there’s anything I know about myself it’s that I’m first, a totally normal person, and second, super obsessed with serial killers and fucked up minds. But that comes second to the part about me being a normal, mentally healthy, not disturbed person.
If a show based on real life accounts inside the BAU/Elite Serial Crime Unit isn’t a big enough sell then how about the fact that it’s directed by David Fincher, ever heard of him? Only the director of the most suspenseful, fucked up, best movie of all-time “Se7en.” Yeah, not a bad get when you need a guy to direct a show about deranged murderers.
“Mindhunter” doesn’t come out until October, the same month as “Stranger Things,” so make sure you save up your PTO. We’ve got a lot of TV watching to do around Mischief Night.
