First of all this is always the most shocking event of the year. When Sports Illustrated releases their swimsuit issue featuring dozens of very, very scantily clad young women (sometimes even naked!). At first I thought it was a mistake, that maybe some intern got a hold of the printing presses and went rogue, grabbed a bunch of random models in bikinis and plastered them all over the glossy pages. But then it happened like, 20 years in a row and I’m starting to think they’re doing it on purpose? Which makes no sense from the publication that took such a crystal clear stance on putting beautiful women all together in one place.

Whatever, don’t want to beat that dead horse. Back to the point of this blog. Just picked up my masturbatory, self-aggrandizing, piggish internet copy of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue 2017 and was wondering what people thought of Upton’s latest cover. A legend of the game no doubt. But the modeling game is a ruthless one. Can’t rest on your laurels. Get no credit for where you came from – all that matters is where you are now.
