Marshall Faulk, To This Day, Is Still Complaining About The Patriots Allegedly Taping The Rams' Walkthrough Before Super Bowl 36

The life of an NFL player ain’t all it’s made out to be. Sure, there’s the money, the fame, and the groupies. But what about all these poor bastards who lose to the Patriots in the Super Bowl? The average length of an NFL career is about 3.3 years. That’s a very, very short window of time to actually make it to a Super Bowl, never mind actually win one. So, in a way, I guess I understand guys like Marshall Faulk still trying to justify losing to the Patriots in the Super Bowl by crying about videotapes and cheating.

“[The practice] before the Super Bowl. The guy who worked for the Patriots. If you remember, that was someone mysteriously living in Hawaii, who made his way back to the states and delivered the tapes. [Roger] Goodell then watched those tapes and said there wasn’t enough there to deem anything being done. Now, I didn’t see what was on the tapes, because we didn’t get to see that. The only thing I could say is that they taped our practice. That was wrong.”

Faulk was asked if he “believed” that was the case.

“I don’t believe anything. I’m just telling you the facts.”

Faulk was asked if he thought that played a role in New England’s 20-17 win.

“I could care less,” Faulk said. “I don’t care about that. Now, what do you want me to say?”

Marshall, Marshall, Marshall. Tell me you don’t like my firm, tell me you don’t like my idea, tell me you don’t like my fuckin’ neck tie, but don’t tell me that you don’t care about the whole videotaping scandal and whether or not it had an effect on the outcome of the Super Bowl. I KNOW that you care, because you were complaining about the same damn thing three years ago, saying, “I’ll never be over being cheated out of the Super Bowl.”

Hey, at least you’re keeping your word that you’ll never be over it, considering that was 15 years and six Super Bowls ago for the Patriots.
