Bs Come Back From All-Star Break With Big 4-3 Win In Tampa

Frank Vatrano’s 6th of the year, a power play tally with 7+ minutes left, ended up being the game-winner in the Bruins important 4-3 win in Tampa last night. Patrice Bergeron (12), David Krejci (12), and Zdeno Chara (4) scored the other three goals to pace Boston.

Thanks to Ottawa’s loss to Florida, the Bs are tied with the Sens in the Atlantic with 58 points and have two more ROW victories though the Sens have a ridiculous five games in hand. Boston also benefitted from losses by their closest competitors beneath them, Philly and Toronto.

Brad Marchand had two assists to give him 21-30–51 totals on the year, tied with Mark Scheifele for 5th in the league. But he’ll likely be hearing from the Department of Player Safety yet again for this “accidentally on purpose” trip/slew-foot on Anton Stralman.
