Tiger tees off at 1:40 PM EST today. First real tourney since August 2015. What to expect? Who fucking knows. He’s back and, quite frankly, as long as he’s healthy we’re happy. At least for a few weeks, then the demands will sink in.
For now we’re content we get to watch him. And even more content we get to bet on him.

Yes. The dude loves Torrey and, although he finished 15/17 in the Bahams last month, he did lead the field in birdies. If he just tightens things up a bit and shaves a few loose swings he makes the cut no problem.

Oh jesus. I almost punched Smitty this morning on Drive Time for even mentioning another Tiger injury, but facts are facts. The guy’s a bandaid. And just two years ago he withdrew and said his ass didn’t activate.
Will he withdraw? No, but yes at +300 isn’t a terrible bet.

Horrific odds. Of course he’s not going to finish top-5…… buuuuut then again he is Tiger. And +450 sure is enticing. Which is why gambling sucks.

Based solely on the odds, gotta go with yes here. +350 for a top-10 from the guy that’s won the Farmers Insurance 7 times, as well as a US Open and a World Junior Championship on this course, is a no-brainer.

Over. Way over. Now this of course hinges on him making the cut/not withdrawing; if either of those two things happen, the over’s in tough shape.

I’m thinking 31st-40th. He’ll make the cut, but over the weekend he’ll mix in a good round with a bad one. It’s amazing that he’s -120 to finish 51st or worse but then again the guy hasn’t played in a Tour event in 522 days.
