Wake Up With Tim Raines Stealing His 800th Career Base (1998)
There’s just something so wrong about seeing Tim Raines in anything but an Expos uniform, but the Baseball Gods got this one right when Raines swiped his 800th career bag in Montreal. 2017 is Raines’ tenth and final year on the Hall of Fame ballot, because he is going to get inducted this year. The last update we’ve gotten on the Hall of Fame ballots is that, of the 196 that have been submitted, Raines has appeared on 91.6% of them. That’s the highest percentage of any of the players on this year’s ballot with Jeff Bagwell (90.6%) not far behind.
