Golden Globe Reporter Asking Donald Glover Why He Shouted Out "My-Gos" Was Perfect

Wanksta Clancy checking in! Here to explain to you white people things going on in pop culture that you dont understand! I’ll tell ya something – I never in one million years thought I would need to write a blog to explain black people things to white people regarding the GOLDEN GLOBES but here we are. The world is officially upside down.

So last night Donald Glover AKA Childish Gambino won his Golden Globe because hes one of the most talented people in the world. Rapper, singer, actor, comedian, writer, producer, the whole 9. He’s only 33 and hes a full blown super star with a lot more ahead of him. If you havent watched Atlanta, you should. The adventures of Earn, Paper Boi and Darius was some of the most underrated TV out there this year. Not sure if its up Barstool’s alley, hence the entire reason for a blog like this, but if you’re not racist you’ll probably like it.

Anyway, back to the Globes. Atlanta wins an award for some shit. I dunno because the Golden Globe categories are mad confusing. And during his acceptance speech he thanks Migos for creating the song Bad and Boujee (Sidenote, it drives me CRAZY that they didnt spell it Bougie) just because he thinks its a dope song.

The room of rich white people were left confused. Nobody understood the words coming out of his mouth. The only laughs you heard were from the cast of Blackish. Everyone probably pulled out their phones and googled “What is a meegos?” Which led to the post-show interview with some cream cheese reporter asking about “My-Gos”

Plucked straight from a Chappelle’s Show skit, the white folks are right on time with their confused questions embarrassing themselves. Pretty perfect. I’m sure Donald Glover was like “This is exactly why I shouted them out.” Now listen I check out on all the “They’re the Beatles of this generation.” The extent of my Migos knowledge is that right now if someone says “Rain drop” at you, you say “drop top” back. Thats how you avoid looking old. You’ll have to ask Caleb or Hen Easy or one of the young bucks for more clarification if Migos is really gonna change the world like the Beatles. But I guess you could say they already have. When they’ve penetrated into the goddam Golden Globes – one of the whitest things on earth – I guess we really might be witnessing Migosmania. Rain Drops…drop top…
