A Nightclub Waitress Trying To Blackmail A Cop She Met Off A Dating Site Is The Most Horrifying Shit Imaginable

The Sun – Georgia Harris, 19, filmed the unsuspecting policeman after instigating a conversation with him in his car about a “hypothetical” sex attack scenario.

[The] nightclub waitress, now aged 20, then cropped the recording and sent her victim a six to eight second clip, in which he could only be heard saying “I’d be raping you”, and her replying “I don’t want you to rape me”.

A court heard Harris, who worked at Faces nightclub in Chelmsford, Essex, threatened she would go to police with the recording if the 22-year-old Met Police officer did not pay her £200.

She then implied she was just 15 years old as she sent the officer her bank details – and upped her demand to £250.

Harris, who lives with her mum in Chelmsford, Essex was arrested and later sent police a letter, addressed to her victim.

Apologising, she wrote: “I was not in my right mind. After all, who blackmails a police officer?”

Harris admitted blackmail and was sentenced to eight months in a young offenders’ institution.

This is one of those stories you see and the crime here gets some sort of eight-month sentence where she’ll probably get off early and you have to wonder if this is a person we reeeeeally want back out there in the world. Doing something like this is so insanely twisted, from seeming premeditated in the way she got this going off a dating site likely knowing he was a cop, to planning the recording and then manipulating the audio, right down to then lying about her age and demanding more money to try to make this poor dude panic and fear for his life and career…every step of that is pure evil. Even her attempt at an apology was weak as shit and barely remorseful, basically her being like “Oopsie, weird day for me!” instead of admitting that she was perpetrating some reeeeeal fucked up shit. At that point I feel like no matter what the outcome of the crime is and what a normal sentence, you’ve got to lock this chick up and throw away the key for the good of society and herself. Plus one other sign of mental weakness from this chick deserving of punishment…you’re going to go to this length and threaten to ruin some dude’s life for like $310 American? I mean aim a little higher. Hell asking for that low of an amount probably makes it even easier for the guy to go to the cops, no qualified professional blackmailer is throwing lies that serious around for not even enough money to buy a Playstation.
