Indonesian Island Makes Couple Do Walk Of Shame For Stealing Bikes
Two Australian tourists have been forced to perform a public “walk of shame” through the streets of an Indonesian island for allegedly stealing bicycles.
The man and woman, whose identities have not been confirmed, wore cardboard signs emblazoned with the words, “I AM THIEVE DON’T DO WHAT I DID..!”, as they were marched through the streets by village chiefs and police officers.
I love a good ole fashioned walk of shame. I think the walk of shame can be valuable. Indonesia did this walk of shame pretty respectfully given the circumstances.
This could have easily been a Westeros situation where both of the thieves have their titties flying about in the wind whilst covered in blood.
Walking with a sign that’s grammatically incorrect is much better than being pelted with mud and sticks and having your breasts open for public ridicule. The process of getting your nipples shamed and judged is hurtful no matter your gender. As a small nipple haver, I’ve experienced this shame first hand and it stings. It stings bad. Seems to me like these two Aussies got off light and they should be thanking their lucky stars.
