USATD – The #MannequinChallenge craze is everywhere, including after a touchdown in the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section semifinals.

Del Oro (Loomis, Calif.) had its players strike the pose before a two-point conversion after its first touchdown of the game. The Antelope defense tried to figure out what was going on.

Then, Del Oro got into formation and running back Mason Hurst took the handoff and went in for the score.

Del Oro won 50-10.

Listen I am a firm and I mean FIRM believer that you have every right to do anything you want during the course of a sports game and it’s on the other team to stop you. If you’re “running up the score,” the other team should play better defense. If you pimp a home run, the other team shouldn’t give up the home runs. All the taunting and dancing and shit, you don’t need penalties and unwritten rules and shit, you just need to step your shit up and be better.

Having said that if a team was beating my ass and did a god damn motherfucking Mannequin Challenge in the middle of a two point conversion I think I’d be well within my rights to pull a Last Boy Scout on their asses.

I mean a viral meme during live gameplay? That’s just as disrespectful as it gets.
