Millions Protest In Korea Because Their President's Closest Advisor Was A Fortune Teller

Over Thanksgiving, my brother-in-law mentioned that my next protest video should be in Korea. My immediate response was “what are those idiots protesting?” He told me that they were fired up because their president’s right hand woman is basically a witch doctor. She has a “Rasputin-like” advisor in her inner circle, who is basically reading tea leaves to assist in making governmental decisions. Ok, I guess that’s a pretty legitimate reason to protest. A little different than the “Donald Trump go away, racist, sexist, anti-gay” crowd. Check out the sheer numbers.

At the Donald Trump protest the day after the election, there were said to be 10,000 to 15,000 people picketing outside of Trump Tower. That crowd was dense. These reports are saying that there were 1,3000,000 people protesting here, which is absolutely fucking insane. Alongside the divination going on, Choi Soon-sil, the advisor, was also sneaking drugs to the president, as per the Korea Times.

Drug mules, crystal ball readers, what can’t the K-Pop Miss Cleo do?

On the left is the disgraced president, who’s approval ratings are in the single digits, and on the right is her confidant. The chick on the right was literally giving direct orders to the president. She had no political background and was telling their president what to do because she was believed to have supernatural powers. Not only that, she’s from a cult family. Fucking Korea man.

From the Washington Post:

Choi is the daughter of the late Choi Tae-min, who was a kind of shaman-fortune teller described in a 2007 cable from the U.S. Embassy in Seoul as “a charismatic pastor.” Locally, he’s seen as a “Korean Rasputin” who once held sway over Park after her mother was assassinated in 1974.

“Rumors are rife that the late pastor had complete control over Park’s body and soul during her formative years and that his children accumulated enormous wealth as a result,” read the cable, released by WikiLeaks.

All the names and genders can get a little confusing, but the bottom line is that Korea was using some spell-casting-witch as part of their cabinet and now their entire country is in the streets pissed off about it.
