John Calipari Probably Pissed Off Louisville People With This Joke

During yesterday’s press conference for the Cleveland State game, John Calipari was asked an innocent question. ‘Why didn’t Kenny Payne read Cal’s new book?’ Kenny Payne is a Louisville graduate.

Cal’s response is one that will piss off Louisville and that’s awesome. His response ‘He went to Louisville, he doesn’t read.’

Now for those that haven’t been around Kentucky, these two programs and fans absolutely hate each other. It’s the second most-known rivalry behind Duke/UNC, but I would say UK-Louisville truly hate each other more. He’s obviously joking in the answer here, but regardless it’s a great response that will be played quite a bit in Louisville.
