Ravens Lose To The Cowboys 27-17

Well that wasn’t ideal. The Cowboys played their game through and through. Completely dominated time of possession and slammed the door shut with a great 6+ minute FG drive. Ezekiel Elliott didn’t necessarily run all over us, but he got his, especially in the 2nd half. Once the Cowboys realized that Dez Bryant could have his way with us with Jimmy Smith out, they did exactly that. Plus the Ravens couldn’t get off the field on 3rd down. Seemed like they always had 3rd and 4 and were able to find an open guy underneath. By no means do I think any less of the Ravens after this game, they just got beat by a better team on the road. It happens. At least Steve Smith got his 1,000th career catch. That dude ate today and was the only real bright spot today. Bless his heart.

Not all is lost. The Ravens are still in first place and have an opportunity to bury a struggling Bengals team at home next week. Onward.
