Is Detroit Going To Have A Parade For The Guy That Won The World Series Of Poker Last Night Because They Honestly Should

I’m not even joking when I say this. Detroit HAS to have a parade for Ryan Riess. They have to. I mean that was the biggest win in Lions history last night. Yeah it came on a poker table in a tournament that no one watches but who cares. You want to turn Detroit around you start celebrating championships, either that or you finally adopt my Frambulance idea, one or the other, your call Detroit.

Also, I think I’ve said this before but it bears repeating. If you didn’t have a hardcore poker phase at some point in your life then you’re a fucking weirdo. I’m not saying you had to be in tournaments online and shit but anyone who hasn’t seen Rounders or played poker is just bizarre. It’s like meeting a guy that doesn’t have a fantasy football team. I hate fantasy football, but I also know if you don’t play it then something is very off.  Just like if you never played/watched poker then you don’t know who this is, and your life is therefore hollow and pointless.
