Klay Thompson Seems To Be Having A Tough Time Adjusting To His New Role On The Warriors

Not every guy in the world is cut out to be a member of a super team. Some rise to the occasion by dropping 35 points and putting a city on his back. Others try to heal by taking a sad swig of a Coors Light and react like its some magical refreshing elixir (respect for the blue mountains, though). But Klay is clearly hurting. I can see it in his eyes. I can see it in his smile. I guess being a self-dubbed super villain while hearing your name mentioned in trade rumors everyday will have you hitting the bottle. Nothing worse than getting your spot taken by a guy that’s taller AND richer than you. Brutal.

P.S. For the record, Klay’s goatee has always screamed “Super villain” and “Coors Light Guy” to me. He just needed to have the proper mindset for it, which he probably will soon. It’s the rest of the Warriors outside of Draymond that need to work on their villainess.
