Listen Louisville is my favorite team in college football this year. Lamar Jackson is quite literally a God on the field and appointment television every time he plays. I said on the Rundown that the championship game I want to see the most BY FAR is Louisville take on Alabama. Yes Bama is filthy but if anyone has a chance to beat them it’s Lamar going off on a Vince-Young-Rose-Bowl performance and winning a 44-43 game or something. So I’m rooting for them hard. But I don’t think it’s the MOST unfair thing in the world to leave them off here? Yes their one loss was a nail biter to Clemson on the road, while Michigan and Clemson just dropped one to freaking Iowa and Pitt. But Louisville only has one win against a current top 25 team. Clemson and Michigan both have 3. Clemson has the head-to-head which you just can’t argue with. Michigan’s wins over Penn State, Wisco and Colorado are super impressive. And personally I’m a “quality wins” over “quality of the losses” type guy. So yeah I’d love to see Louisville in here and I can see them being bummed about it, but Twitter-rant worthy about being cheated and stuff? “Bring back the BCS”?? Nah.
