Today Is The 6 Year Anniversary Of The Monday Night Massacre In Washington

One of the most dominant performances I’ve ever seen live by an Eagles team. Probably second to the 2008 NFC East Evisceration of the Cowboys during the last game of the season after the Birds were put in a miraculous position to make the playoffs. Michael Vick was purely playing Madden. Not even on All-Madden or All-Pro, Ron Mexico was doing the damn thing on Rookie mode in real life. 59 points. 6 TD’s from Vick. One salty Donovan. What an enchanted evening worth remembering.

In all honesty, that 2010 season was probably the Eagles best chance to win a Super Bowl heading into the playoffs (minus the 2002 team that crumbled to the Bucs in the Vet and the 2008 team that was ROLLING into the NFC Championship game). People forget the Eagles lost in a tough Wild Card game to the Packers (thanks to a few David Akers missed FG’s) and then Green Bay went on to steamroll through the rest of the playoffs. Plus, that was the last season before the Eagles truly went to shit. Memories.
