Then here is a video the suspect took after he was escorted out of the high school football game for causing a disturbance with the Confederate flag

And lastly, here is a comment (now filled with horrific irony) the suspect made under the video about why he was doing what he was doing

The good news is that Scott Michael Greene is in police custody and can no longer cause any more harm. The bad news is that a lot of harm was already done and lives were shattered forever when he decided to gun down two innocent police officers this morning. We also now have a motive for his actions. He’s a racist piece of shit. Listen, I don’t claim to be any sort of expert on American law nor do I know the ins and outs of our Constitution. It’s not something I’m proud of not knowing. It’s just the way it is. I do know this though, if you go to a high school football game with the sole purpose of standing in front of black people and waving a Confederate flag, you’re an asshole. Plain and simple. I don’t know if it’s legal for him to do it or not. All I know is you’re an asshole and people are going to be pissed and might strike you. That’s just common sense. You know it. The cops who escorted him off the property that night clearly knew it. Everybody with a brain knows it. Then for him to make a comment on that very video that people are “cop haters” only to then go and gun down two cops a few weeks later is so fucked in the head it makes me wanna puke. Lock this dude up and throw away the key. Good riddance.
