This Dude Who Stole A Cop Car And Livestreamed His Getaway Is Pretty Badass For An Absolute Fucking Idiot

Newson6 – Tulsa police sergeant Steve Stoltz said a woman called 911 and told the dispatcher a man got into a police car near 5th and Denver, asked if she wanted a ride, then drove off when she said no.

Multiple agencies responded. Stoltz said [the driver John] Pinney drove at high speeds all over Tulsa County.

The chase lasted 30 to 40 minutes and police say speeds reached more than 120 miles per hour.

Along the way, Pinney used the officer’s iPad to stream what he was doing on Facebook Live; in the video he sings, brags about the chase and turns on the siren.

When asked about people live streaming crimes, Stoltz said, “I would encourage every criminal out there to Facebook Live their crimes so that we can catch you a lot easier and use that Facebook Live at your trial to get a better conviction.”

Listen I’m not going to cosign on any crime no matter how close of a resemblance it has to my best pacifist plays of GTA. And this guy, who apparently had multiple felonies already, is going away for a long ass time. But for a rambling mess of a dude who’s very clearly an incredibly stupid man…this was pretty badass. Dude was chill as fuck as he drove away from cops, streamed on a cop’s iPad while saying whatever dumb shit he had to say that I already forgot, then pulled over in the car and mugged with it to show off even more how much of a tough badass criminal he is. I mean if there’s some sort of criminal website that does their version of Kmarko’s Barstool Office Power Rankings this dude must be finishing #1 for the week (assuming they don’t have a heavyset criminal office intern who runs a 40 in a respectable time). The only way it could have been better is if he were on the run for days checking in, leading officers on some sort of sexy game of cat and mouse resembling a Cinemax softcore porn. But that’s asking for too much. Hell of a show, Pinney. Here’s hoping your fellow prisoners are as appreciative of the performance.

Also with this guy’s brazenness and very 2016 Facebook Live streaming (CATCH THE FEVER), it feels like a good excuse for this clip from John Mulaney’s standup about old bank robbers and their flair on display. Criminally underrated (pun not intended initially but now absolutely intended):
