NFL Week 8 Fashion Round Up AKA Your Wife's Favorite Blog

Cam Newton has returned and set Twitter ablaze, Halloween has came and went, and I’m starting to get my first cold of the holiday season. LETS HIT IT.

Lets start with some Halloween costumes, shall we?

Luke Kuechly

10/10. A+. Yes, I’m halfway saying that because Kuechly could crush me with three fingers, but also.. its amazingly done. the towel/headband combo looks just like the way Cam does it and you know Kuechly didn’t own even half of this stuff. “What the hell are Beats headphones?”

Johnny Hecker

I love the NFL and the WWE. Hell, I went and saw RAW live last night in Hartford. so if you take the two things I love and in my love for punters.. well, you have a combo that can’t be topped. just exceptionally done.

Matthew Stafford

Stafford is definitely that guy that talks about not wanting to dress up all week and talks about “how stupid Halloween is”, but then his girlfriend barges through the door, demands they do a couple costume and 45 minutes later he is dressed up like a poor man’s Benny the Jet Rodriguez.

Michael Bennett

This is a kind reminder that having this many kids can be fun. I constantly dream of dressing my kids up like different WWE factions every Halloween. It has to be the best to be a parent and have the power to dress your kids up as whatever you want for your personal amusement. PARENTHOOD, BABY. (Now everyone go listen to Podfathers..)

Beau Allen

Beau is sneakily becoming my favorite Eagle. There is nothing not funny about a large guy dressed as dumbo. that is just classic comedy. I had this photo texted to me a few times this week and I have cracked up every time. You just have to imagine a man of Allen’s Stature going up to someone’s front door and trick-or-treating.

Now onto some normalcy..

Carson Wentz

Wentz has become a regular on this list because some weeks he looks nice and suave like he does here and others it is a complete dumpster fire like last week. This week he looks like a normal franchise QB and that is reassuring to say the least. (Also convinced Carson Wentz only owns one fitted suit)

So I was enjoying my afternoon this past Sunday when around 4:35 Twitter exploded. Cam Newton with his St. Patty’s day hat, Easter brunch clothes and Funfetti cake mix shoes strutted to the podium.

This is what happens when Cam Newton has a week off with a concussion. He sits in his closet, stewing up the worst possible combination of clothes ever imaginable to wear.

like Cam, we get it. You want to raise awareness for breast cancer, but a pin would have done the same thing as an all pink suit. Then there is the hat that has the weirdest three feathers ever seen. Then there are the shoes that everyone had a field day with. Puft the marshmallow from Ghostbusters, the Michelin man, pepper jack cheese, Funfeti cake. You name it, they meme’d it and rightfully so.
