A New Jersey High School Student Jumped Out Of A 2nd Floor Window Because She Didn't Want To Take A Test

Patch- A N.J. high school student jumped out of a bathroom window on Wednesday because she didn’t want to take a test, police said. The student leaped from a second-floor window at Asbury Park High School at 8:44 a.m., the Asbury Park Police Department told nj.com.

The 15-year-old female was taken to a nearby hospital to treat her broken ankle and undergo evaluation, according to The Asbury Park Press. School officials said the high school was holding PSAT testing on Wednesday for freshmen, sophomores and juniors, and the student who jumped is a sophomore who arrived at school around before 7:47 a.m., according to the reports. The student, who was not identified, went to the second-floor ladies bathroom on the building’s east side and climbed out of the window in an effort to leave the building, before falling to the ground, according to the reports.

Listen, I get that high school can be a rough time and hard tests can seem like the end of the world. But what kind of person jumps out of a second floor window just because she doesn’t want to take a test? And not just any test, but a motherfucking PSAT. Isn’t that the practice test for the SATs? We’re talking about practice, man. We’re talking about practice. We’re talking about practice. We ain’t talking about the SATs. We’re talking about practice, man.

If you don’t want to take a test, you just fake a sickness. That simple. Nobody will violate your safe space in the nurse’s office by calling you a faker because the whole world is worried about violating safe spaces and shit. Best case scenario you get sent home in time to catch The Price Is Right and whatever ESPN plays instead of SportsCenter marathons. Worst case scenario, you either spend a few hours in the nurse’s office and sneak a nap in or you escape by jumping out of a first floor window. But jumping out of a second floor window and breaking your ankle should result in a 0 or an F or whatever the worst grade is for the PSAT. And to be honest, you should probably get a 0 on the SATs too.
