Before Game 5 of the ALCS, Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Jose Bautista, whose birthday is today, had some comments about 24-year-old Cleveland Indians starter Ryan Merritt.
The ever-confident Jose Bautista said Merritt is “going to be shaking in his boots” in Game 5 because the Blue Jays have such a great lineup and the Rogers Centre will be rocking, but the Indians have no concerns.
Bautista also complained about the “circumstances” that the Blue Jays had to deal with after falling behind in the series two games to none.
On the man’s damn birthday no less. Just a savage, savage move by Bauer, who was trolling Toronto from the second he knew that they were Cleveland’s opponent.
