Stephen A Smith Is None Too Pleased The Redskins Were Happy 30 Seconds After Beating The Eagles

First of all, RJF and Swaggy aren’t wrong. The Skins are the defending NFC East champs. They have won 4 in a row. They were underdogs at home to the Eagles and beat them, impressively. I haven’t been super high on this team because of injuries and some holes on both sides of the ball, but they’ve proven me wrong so far. So what does Stephen A Smith have to say about it? A whole bunch of nonsense.

Note: I know SAS yells nonsense all day every day for the publicity. He’s the mayor of hot take city. He uses words that he think are big and important and goes “DAMN!” a lot. And this shit he said makes literally no sense about a team that has won 4 games in a row now:

WaPo – “Bravo. Bravo,” Smith began. “You’re the champions of the NFC East. WOW! I’m so TOUCHED. I mean, can we stop and throw a party in the nation’s capital? You are the champions of the NFC East. I’m so touched. I’m so touched. Where’s the tissues? Look, let me wipe my tears away. I mean, this is just so touching. I can’t believe it, I’m getting emotional right now. The Washington Redskins are the champions of the NFC East.

All because professional athletes were happy they won a game. It’s the most ridiculous spew of garbage of from SAS. He’s really that upset the Skins players who are out there playing with all sorts of broken limbs and concussions and the like celebrated a victory? Quite a hill for him to die on. And again, they are the reigning NFC East champs…so they aren’t even wrong.

He goes on and on and on, making excuses for the Eagles, calling the Skins losers, it’s all very weird. Now I don’t want the Skins to win the division for me or my happiness, I want them to win the division so Stephen A Smith once again looks like a huge turd. Winning the division last year was great, winning it back to back would really mean we run the East.
