Eagles Replacement RT Halapoulivaati "Big V" Vaitai Was Emasculated To The Core Vs. The Redskins

We all knew this team would be hurt when Lane Johnson’s 10-game suspension for being a dumbass kicked in, but come on now. This was an outright embarrassing, nay, emasculating performance by Big V. Yes, he is a rookie. I get it. You get it. The 5th round pick is simply not ready, talented, or confident enough to be thrust into this position. That’s evident of him being pushed around on ice skates every freaking pass rush. Seriously. We’ve seen some piss poor offensive line play throughout our degenerate Philly lives. From last year’s Turnstile Tobin to the firefighter turned football player turned bum turned firefighter Danny Watkins to Karl Malone’s illegitimate kid that should’ve stayed in the womb rather grace the gridiron. But I can’t remember a time when an Eagles OL was ragdolled this much, this often during a single football game – Sans the time Michael Strahan made Winston Justice his own personal Gimp. And this may get worse before it gets better. Other than kicking Allen Barbre out to RT (which would then leave a significant hole at G), there’s really no other option. This offensive line depth is…well, there is no real offensive line depth. And if Ginger Jesus dies because of Lane Johnson’s sins there will be hell to pay.

Ms. Dennis Kelly wasn’t the most talented offensive lineman out there, but having that butch step in at RT right now could have salvaged this game. And possibly the season.
