Twitter Reached Its Peak During Last Night's Debate

From the opening bell of last night’s debate when they didn’t shake hands and Twitter exploded, we knew we were in for a real treat. Sure, the debate was between the candidates for the most important office in the world, but to Twitter, it’s just good ol’ fashioned live Tweeting, a competition to see who can be the quickest and funniest. Hill and Don are up there talking about borophyll, trying to win the trust of the American public, but none of that matters. We are just a mockery of ourselves now- Idiocracy at it’s finest. We are living in one big, long extravagant episode of South Park…except even South Park wouldn’t write this script because it’s a bit too unrealistic. The debate was a complete shit show, but Twitter was at its best.

Phil Kessel made an appearance

And of course, Ken Bone stole the show. Ken fucking Bone. Unreal.

One of the best nights on Twitter in a long time, it’s just unfortunate that one of those two candidates is going to be the president of the United States.

And despite it being the biggest night in Twitter HISTORY, even Ken Bone couldn’t save Twitter
