Ravens Win Another Ugly One Over The Browns 25-20

My goodness, what a disgusting win. The Ravens have come out flat in a lot of games in recent years, and this one is right up there with the worst of them. They were missing tackles, giving up long 3rd down conversions, dropping passes, throwing picks…. pretty much all the things that got them to 5-11 last year.

Difference between this year and last year is that they finished the job in the end. There were games last year where they battled their way back and put themselves in position to win, only to let the opposition drive right down the field and steal it in the last minute. It certainly looked like it was going to be another one of those soul-crushing defeats again, but they were able to get the big interception (with a little help from the stripes on a questionable taunting call).

That brings the Ravens to 2-0. Anytime you can get a road divisional win, you have to be pleased. Once again the Ravens have shown they still have a long way to go before I’m ready to call them contenders, but you literally can’t be better than 2-0 through 2 weeks. Let’s clean it up some this week and go get one in Jacksonville.
