Ok let’s just get this out of the way first-

The obvious play of the weekend.

Insanity. CMU 30/Okla State 27.

I’m sure Oklahoma State appreciated the apology from the refs afterwards saying the play should have never been allowed to happen. Our bad!

As for the rest of the slate – not a great weekend for college football. Not a single game between ranked opponents and not many nail biters so everything felt like a bit of a let down after how awesome week 1 was. But let’s run through the highlights.

LOUISVILLE 62/Syracuse 28

Lamar Jackson Da Gawd.

This fucking guy. I mean I don’t want to say “hand him the Heisman right now” because that’s exactly what we said about Fournette last year.

But like…give him the Heisman.

UGA 26/Nicholls State 24

UGA was my adopted college team and I think I’d be doing them a big favor if I didn’t post any “highlights” from this one.
