Big expectations (finishing better than .500) are finally here for my beloved Jacksonville Jaguars. Today is a big step in seeing if the preseason hype was just another step in my soul being crushed or if I’ll actually have some happy Sundays this fall.

Gus Bradley is an insane 0-17 against teams who made the playoffs since he’s been the head coach of the Jaguars, so needless to say, the odds are stacked against Jacksonville. 0-17 against playoff teams is a bonkers stat. So depressing.

I expect Aaron Rodgers to attack the middle of the field just behind the linebackers all day. Both Poz and Telvin Smith struggle in coverage which might be problematic against one of the best QBs in the game.

That being said, no chance the Jaguars lose today.

Blake Bortles, Allen Robinson, Allen Hurns and TJ Yeldon should all have big days. I’m ready to be the newcomers who come in and Steal The Show Again.

38-31 Jaguars.

I’m nervous as hell.

Actual prediction: 42-17 Green Bay.

Jaguars Free Agent addition Chris Ivory is inactive and apparently in the hospital. Oh god.
