I’m just gonna say it. That was pretty meh. Undoubtedly the headlines you’ll see for this video will be, “Amy Schumer ROASTS Sexist Heckler Then Tosss Him Out” and “Amy Schumer OBLITERATES Gross Heckler Then Kicks His Ass To The Curb” or something to that effect. When all she really did was make a shitty salesperson joke then have security escort him out. Is that dude an asshole for yelling “show us your tits!”? Yeah of course he is. That’s not normal human behavior. But it also kinda feels like Schumer is pulling the rug out from under people when she attacks someone for something that is pretty #OnBrand for her. Isn’t her thing being loose with her sexuality and sleeping around? I have ZERO problem with that brand, and it’s clearly a popular one, but she’s gotta know what type of crowd that’s gonna attract. Mainly, guys who might yell “show us your tits!” in the middle of a set. It just seems a little disingenuous to have this assumed public persona where you’re a woman who likes to fuck but then bring the sexist hammer down on a guy who plays into that persona.
