ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A man allegedly tried to burn down a south St. Louis gas station all over a stolen bag of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. Joshua Crook, 33, is in jail and charged with felony attempted arson. Police say Crook tried to steal a bag of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos from a BP gas station on South Grand Boulevard. When the clerk confronted him, he allegedly punched the clerk in the face, ran out of the store and poured gasoline on the pavement. Crook then attempted to set the gasoline on fire with a lit cigarette, police believe.

That’s irony, right? Guy so mad he got caught stealing a bag of flamin’ hot Cheetos from a gas station that he tries to burn it down? I don’t understand irony at all so I’m probably wrong. Anyway. Tough call on whose side to take here. Stealing/burning down a building is illegal so the robber/arson is in the wrong. But I’m of the opinion that flaming’ hot Cheetos should just be free. Free for everyone,. They’re so delicious that I wanna live in world where people can just take them whenever they want. Drinking fountains and flamin’ hot cheetos. Open for the public. Not to mention I respect a man who’s willing to go down for felony arson over a bag of Cheetos. Those are my people. I would like to shake that man’s hand one day when he gets out of prison. #TeamArsonist

PS- Is he crying or really drunk in that mug shot? I hope he’s hammered for his sake.
