Wikileaks Reward Announcement Has Us All Talking Hillary Clinton Murderous Conspiracy Theories!
Last month, 27-year-old DNC staffer Seth Rich was gunned down at 4am near his apartment. He was on the phone with his girlfriend while walking home in an affluent neighborhood. So far police have very few leads; they’ve said it could be the result of a botched robbery (there had been several robberies in the area around the time of his death, including a violent attack with pistol whipping just hours before).
His parents refute that claim, pointing out that his watch, phone and wallet were all found on him. When police don’t have an answer you know who does? Conspiracy theorists! They like to claim Seth was gunned down heading to a meeting with the FBI. They claim he was going to testify against Hillary. They claim he was the source of the DNC email leaks (zero evidence for any of this). So when Wikileaks published this tweet, the conspiracy birds got all fired up:

On August 2nd, 38-year-old activist and lawyer Shawn Lucas was found dead in his apartment. A month prior, Lucas had “served” the DNC a lawsuit over fraudulent practices favoring Hillary Clinton and hurting Bernie Sanders. Conspiracy birds obviously think the two are linked.
A day earlier, August 1st, Victor Thorn committed suicide atop a mountain. Thorn had written dozens of books and was famous for his investigative works on the Clinton power family. As you can imagine, this too fired up the birds. They like to link this and several other deaths (info on all this here):

Look, I’m all in on thinking Crooked Hillary is indeed a crooked politician that will lie, pander, and say whatever could possibly need to be said to get elected. All in on that. I have no doubt about it. In fact if she weren’t so unlikable I would respect her for it. But I think I have to draw the line somewhere. Deleting emails, rigging the primary against Bernie, or completely fabricating that you landed “under sniper fire” in Bosnia is one level. That’s whatever. But I will not go as far as to believe the Clinton machine had this 27-year-old dude and several others murdered months before the election just because the internet says so. It’s 2016 and it’s Hillary Clinton we’re talking about here — Hil can’t even successfully email privately about her popular Kabul coats, these idiots think she can pick off human threats in public and get away with it? Come on now.
I’m a tough sell for conspiracies, but always fun to dabble. What else we gonna do on a Tuesday afternoon in the dog days of summer with no conventions, debates, and Donald Trump reading teleprompters again?
