So It Turns Out Blake Griffin Is A Good Basketball Player AND A Good Stand Up Comedian

Holy shit that was fantastic? I don’t know what I was expecting but I wasn’t expecting that. And not just fantastic for a professional athlete. That was a good stand up routine for anybody. Maybe I shouldn’t be so surprised. If you asked me what athletes I think would be halfway decent at stand up comedy, Blake Griffin would be near the top of the list. He’s one of the funnier current athletes we have at the moment. His commercials are always funny. He’s quick on his literal and figurative feet. He went on Pardon My Take so you know he’s got a good sense of humor.

He also gave us one of the greatest tweets ever during the DeAndre Jordan saga

So it wasn’t a huge surprise to watch him kill a stand up set but still mildly surprising. Stand up comedy is super hard. I’ve never done it but it seems like one of the most terrifying things a person can attempt to do. Cause I have seen bad stand up comedy and it is just awful. So to recap. Blake Griffin has had his number retired in college, jumped over a car, punched a guy, fucked a stripper, been selected to 5 All Star Games and is really funny on top of all that. That’s more than enough talent for a talentless guy like myself to hate but he’s also super likable. Damn you, Blake Griffin.
