Ah, yes. The Andy Reid Presser. A borderline Shakespearean performance, time and time again. On the surface, it’s refreshing because in the end, he’s usually right in the 3 things he says on repeat. It is the head coach’s responsibility to do a better job and make things right. But when you hear the exact same excuse after every loss, every year, with no actual responsibility taken to do said better job and improve the team, it gets a little stale. Like, hey, Kool-Aid Man, DO A FUCKING BETTER JOB THEN. It’s the definition of “Don’t talk about it, be about it”, and I pity KC fans. Not because Reid is a bad coach. He’s not. In fact, he’s still one of the better HC’s in the NFL. But when you treat your fans like kids while offering no insight or explanation to any thought process about why you suck and how you plan to get better, it gets a little stale. And yes this fake fat man playfully impersonating the Walrus just made me frustrated as FUCK thinking about the monotony that was the end of the Andy Reid era, and how we’re in store for a watered down version of it all over again. Cute.
