Crazy Man Jumped 25,000 Feet Out Of An Airplane Without A Parachute

So last week I read a quick thing about some guy jumping out of an airplane without a parachute. I didn’t read too much into it though, thought it was just another stunt where nothing could go wrong, like the guy who walks across the tight rope who has a 0% chance of dying even if he fell. Well, I was wrong. This guy and that just is INSANE. Even an extreme athlete like myself wouldn’t attempt this jump. This isn’t like the Red Bull guy who jumped from outer space- all he did was fall and open a parachute. This man right here jumped out of a moving plane, 25,000 feet in the air, and had to stick a landing without seeing his landing spot for the last few hundred feet. Nuts.

And the thing that really stuck out to me in this video is just how fast he’s falling. It’s not like you float towards Earth, you’re screaming like a bullet train towards Earth. And even crazier, it’s not like he hit a bullseye on his fall. Even though I already knew he lived, when I saw him land, I thought maybe he still died.

If the net was a napkin, he hit the “where rich people dab their face in movies” part. I’m not sure he could have been closer to missing that net, I wonder if he knew how close he was to missing it during those last few seconds.

Great job by his medical staff checking him out to make sure he was a-ok after too. They gave him a thumbs up, he gave them a thumbs up, and all was good. That’s med school 101, after someone falls 25,000 feet, if they can thumbs up, they’re golden, pony boy. Besides if you choose to do this stunt to begin with, not sure there’s much a medical team can tell you anyway.
